Offering Decontamination Services Related to COVID-19

Flash Bio Clean will help restore your indoor environment by applying the latest technologies to thoroughly clean and decontaminate your property. Our training in biohazard remediation and our experience makes Flash Bio Clean uniquely qualified to assess and perform these decontamination services. We continue to follow guidelines put forth by the CDC and EPA, to work towards mitigating and remediating biological contamination including viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.

Why Choose Flash Restore

How Does Electrostatic Spray Cleaning Work?

Electrostatic spraying is a method of applying a cleaner, disinfectant that involves applying an electric charge to a liquid in order to get it to fully cover a surface.

Electrostatic spraying has numerous advantages over conventional sprayers and other coating methods. Most prominently, the electrostatic charge applied gives a more even, full coat compared other methods. When the positively charged disinfectant is sprayed onto a negatively charged (grounded) surface, the disinfectant particles are naturally and strongly attracted to the surface. Since the entire surface is negatively charged, the entire surface will be covered by the disinfectant leading to uniform coverage. Electrostatic spraying can get to hard-to-reach areas, like crevices, around corners, and backsides of surfaces.

Surfaces are sanitized and antimicrobial agents are applied locally to inactivate microorganisms on both porous and non-porous surfaces.

Disinfectant is atomized into ultra-fine droplets and blown into the air for whole room coverage.

Industrial-strength air purification is performed for heavy-duty cleaning of harmful biologicals and to capture microorganisms.

Disinfectant is applied to surfaces using an electric charge for thorough full surface coating, including hard to reach areas such as crevices, corners, and backsides of surfaces.

Waste is safely removed according to the Department of Health and OSHA standards to prevent recontamination.

Decontamination, Disinfection and Sanitization

What’s the Difference?

At Flash we offer Decontamination Services. See additional definitions below.

Decontamination: “The elimination of pathogens or other substances from a surface; there are at least three levels of decontamination, the most effective being Sterilization, then Disinfection, and the lowest level, Sanitization.”

Disinfectants: Are antimicrobial agents designed to inactivate or destroy microorganisms on inert surfaces. Disinfection does not necessarily kill all microorganisms. It is less effective than Sterilization which is an extreme physical and chemical process that kills all types of life. It is not safe to use a sterilization process in a home or work space.

Sanitizing: Sanitizing is meant to reduce, not kill, the occurrence and growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi. Sanitizing a surface makes that surface sanitary or free of visible dirt contaminants that could affect your health.

We want to be clear that this is a mitigation effort and currently there are no products on the market that can claim to kill COVID-19. There has not been enough time to test a product’s efficacy against this novel virus, so buyers beware of companies making a claim to kill or inactivate COVID-19. The CDC has supported the use of products that are known to kill similar types of viruses as COVID-19. We have adopted the CDC suggestions and continue to practice safe biohazard remediation using these EPA-registered products designed to kill similar viruses.

Protecting Our Health As Well As Yours

The health and safety of our employees is our highest priority. Whenever we are dealing with potentially hazardous situations, we will wear the proper personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and CDC protocols. We protect our technicians and in turn we are protecting all stakeholders. Our Technicians are trained to prevent cross contamination.

When applying any cleaning products, we follow all EPA label instructions to ensure the safe and effective application of the product.

All contaminatedd PPE and cleaning supplies are disposed in compliance with state regulation.
